Applying Rapid Qualitative Analysis for Health Equity: Lessons Learned Using “EARS” With Latino Communities

The lived experience of community members can be captured through qualitative research, and there are options to conduct rigorous and quick analyses that reduce the time it takes to use findings to take action. This publication describes the process of rapid qualitative analysis and how to integrate it for health equity work with Latinx populations.

How Is Colonialism a Sociostructural Determinant of Health in Puerto Rico?

This article discusses how colonialism has affected the health of people living in Puerto Rico. It explains how historical inequalities, such as limited access to healthcare and poor living conditions, continue to impact the health outcomes of Puerto Ricans today. The article also explores ways to address these issues and promote health equity in Puerto Rico.
